Tid-Bit @ Me!

My photo
Welcome to P.M. Photographic. My biggest goal is to make your memories last a life time! Changing life and it's focus one picture at a time. I was born and raised in Wisconsin. However, my soul always longed to live in Florida. I have been shooting film from the time my parents bought me my first camera (a Canon AE 1). I was 15 at that time. Lets just say I am older now! My inspiration comes from all different places, people, and situations that I find myself in or traveling too. Please feel free to look around , and make comments. I look forward to hearing from you!

The Town of Lucerne Switzerland...

"The Most Mournful and Moving Piece of Stone in the World"
The Lion of Lucerne
The monument was created to commemorate the bravery and loyalty of the Swiss Guards that protected the French king, Lou the XVI and his family.

We did not have much time in the town but what we did see and experience was fun and educational. A very busy portion of the town with cafe's, social meeting and gatherings taking place all around us. Watch out for the pick pockets!  You can see just above the towns main water-tower.
FUN FACT:  The Spreuerbucke, the wooden bridge is roofed and was part of the town's medieval defenses that also inclued the long fortified wall. It was fun to walk the bridge and feel a part of history under foot.

Lucerne Switzerland

Before heading to Lucerne Switerland...

While still at the top of Mount Pilatus Mom and I endulged in some apple strussel. Boy was that good as we over looked this gloroius sight.  Having reached the summit, we are rewarded by this overwhelming panoramic view over Lucerne and Lake Lucerne. While at the top we enjoyed a traditional horn blowing concert. These horns are made of wood and reach upwards of 7' to 8' in length.
FUN FACT: The views also embrace no less than 73 peaks of the Alpine chain. It is truley a sight to see...

Keep Tuned In .

I promise there is more to see about my Mom and my trip to Germany this past April 12-21 of 2013. It has taken me a little time to edit and compile my photos from th trip with Bandit's passing. I am working to get the fun facts of this very busy trip for you all.  I hope you enjoy it as Mom and I did on our European fun in Switerland, France, Germany and finally Amsterdam. Keep tuned in for more details...

The Passing of Bandit...

It is hard for me to write this message for it means that my little boy is gone... Upon arriving home from Germany my "Littleboy Bean" was found to have a tumor on his heart. This information came as a huge  blow to us for he showed no symptoms of illness till his last hours with us. The Doctors told us that this was  not a fight we could win for him. Bandit was a great friend, an awesome dog, and most of all my "son". Someday I will see him again over the Rainbow Bridge.

Arrival In Zurich and the top of Mount Pilatus Switzerland.

The views at this point of the Swiss Alps were breath taking. Yes it was cold but a nice crystal clear afternoon on the top of Mount Pilatus. What a treat! I felt like I was in the middle of one of those James Bond movies awaiting some serious spy action about to take place as the gondola took its cargo up and down this awesome mount peak. For more details of the this area and the gondola ride to its top check out videos on you tube.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JEWxco_ACg&list=PLQjnzed1__W18B6EEWtaDS92gV4t1rQTS as well as ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yB3G2tJDUGc&list=PLQjnzed1__W18B6EEWtaDS92gV4t1rQTS
