PREPARATION:

     Getting ready for your shoot is very important.  Most individuals want a more relaxed feeling now a days.  It is important to wear comfortable clothes that fit you and your personality. 
In some of my shoots it is not unlike me to ask the family to get a little dirty by sitting on sand, gravel, or a wet lawn. So be ready to have fun and get crazy with your family! These can make some of the greatest and most memorable of photos.
     Grab some hats or some fun boots and shoes to have a fun twist on your photos.  If you and your family have some fun props to bring to the shoot please bring them!  It could be a chair, foot stool, anything and everything that would add to the moment of your personalized shoot. 
     It is important to remember to not change your look prior to your pictures. Don't try something new with your hair or makeup that day. Go with what is "normal" as far as your personal style.  The more relaxed you are the better your shoot will be. It is best to go with more neutral makeup and leave the dark eye pencil at home. If makeup is to dark it can add shadows to the actual pictures.  In this case less is more.....
