Tid-Bit @ Me!

My photo
Welcome to P.M. Photographic. My biggest goal is to make your memories last a life time! Changing life and it's focus one picture at a time. I was born and raised in Wisconsin. However, my soul always longed to live in Florida. I have been shooting film from the time my parents bought me my first camera (a Canon AE 1). I was 15 at that time. Lets just say I am older now! My inspiration comes from all different places, people, and situations that I find myself in or traveling too. Please feel free to look around , and make comments. I look forward to hearing from you!

Dizzy? I am!

Same shot taken just moments apart while driving in Savanha GA. I learned about this style for my friend David Klein. He said to set your camera to a slower shutter speed and while taking the picture turn the camera. The above is that effect.

Every Car should come with one....

GPS...Thats right a gadgit that your husband will listen to and follow for directions. Luv IT!
A must have!

Rain, rain go away!

RUN FOR IT! IT'S GOING TO RAIN! [and your outside with your camera]
I felt like I was the frog in the game frogger. Dodging every car I could to get to the saftey of the car jsut seconds before the sky opened into a huge rain storm.
The garden of good and EVIL. Moments prior to the mad dash for the protection fo the car from the rain.

The cotten Exchange in Savanha GA. We had fun walking around downtown once mor the morning prior to driving to the cabin in the Blue Ridge Mts of GA. The weather as you would have was just about to rain.

Downtown Savahna GA City Market.

Downtown Savanha GA. A little bit of rain went a long way. We had lots of rain on the trip and this was one of those nights. Get the picture as fast as you can and protect the camera at the same time. Night time photography and rushing to not mix well. Long shudder speeds and a steady hand are always needed.

Lady and Sons Paula Dean

We almost got to eat at one of Paula Dean's cafe's however a two full grey hound bus loaded with senior citizens beat us to the line. The wait went from 10 minutes to 3 hours to get a seat. I have never seen seniors perform the 50 yard dash so fast in my life. It was one of life's funny little moments. Ryan and I found a nice little Tapas place in the City Market region of town to have a bite.

Visitors

Yes every morning and evry night around dinner time we had a local visitor. His name was Bear and he was a very nice yellow lab. He and his friend from down the road would grace us with their loving licks as they took in the sunshine on the front porch of the cabin.

HH DISNEY...

While in Hilton Head SC we just had to stop and visit our favorite Mouse House. Yes thats right Disney has a vacation club location in Hilton Head. Very nice for the family to hop onto some bikes and go scouting for fun. Sit and lounch about the pool and relax. It was a very nice resort.

Stands Out...

At the base of Amicolola Falls. the tide pool had formed and at the farthest side I saw this tree. So bright and highlighted by the sun that I was drawn to take this picture of it. I have had some time to play in PS with it and have now added more shadows, highlights, and faded the area around the photo.

Did I mentioned that It Snowed...

Even in the earily part of April it can snow in Georgia. We both knew it was getting cold while we were at the cabin, but when we awoke one morning to find snow! The surprise was well worth the trip.

Amicolola Falls Georgia

To stand next to the falls and feel the raw power of the water come over the top just several feet from over our heads was awesome! The last time I felt this small was while out west as a young girl standing next to Yellow Stone National Parks falls.
