Tid-Bit @ Me!

My photo
Welcome to P.M. Photographic. My biggest goal is to make your memories last a life time! Changing life and it's focus one picture at a time. I was born and raised in Wisconsin. However, my soul always longed to live in Florida. I have been shooting film from the time my parents bought me my first camera (a Canon AE 1). I was 15 at that time. Lets just say I am older now! My inspiration comes from all different places, people, and situations that I find myself in or traveling too. Please feel free to look around , and make comments. I look forward to hearing from you!

Fish Tails.....

This picture was sent to me by my brother Curt. He and my Nephew Tim went fishing this past week and as you can see Tim landed a "BIG ONE"! The story gets better. Tim was pulling in his line, had it next to the boat, and just out of the water when the fish hit it! After some time he was able to land the fish and bring the whooper in at 44 1/2" in length. Mean while the story gets even better. My brother Curt while assisting Tim in getting the fish in the boat got hooked in the middle finger with the same hook that landed the fish. It was a BIG HOOK! Now my brother was hooked to the fish and it started to thrash! The barb went all the way through and Curt was able to cut it off and pull the remaining out of his finger. Next day off to the Doctor to get a much needed tetnus shot.

Before and After...

While reading up on some new actions for PSE on The Coffee Shop. I stumbled upon this new way of turning an ordinary picutre of a flower resting on my magazine into something that has a little more "POP" . Tell me what you think by leaving a comment on my page. Thanks.

Nature

Amazing what is created all around us in nature.

That is how the West was won Son....

Saftey first, saftey always!

Good Old Towel Fight!

No winner, no loosers, just some fun....

Motor Bike!

Grandpa's Joy

I did then He did...

A little photographer in the making. I find that when I shoot children they always want a piece of the action. "Let me see!" "Can I take one?" Well this is not a toy! As I handed the camera to Jake I noted:
1.That the neck strap fell all the way over him. That fail safe mechanism of "dropping the camera" did not work. It fell straight to his feet!
2. He hands where not big enough to hold the camera! Oh Boy!
3. He was not strong enough to hold the camera to take the picture. YEEE!
4. He almost had the coordination to hold it, line it up, and snap the shot. What a trooper!
5. Aunt Lori had a HEART ATTACK! Then passsed out!
All joking aside he did really good. To great shots rolled into one great memory.

Just Learning....

What a great way to learn. Jake is playing checkers with his Mom on a bench that his Grandma made and decorated. This picture was taken inside without a flash but had natural side lighting to give the effect that I wanted. I shot the subject from over the top to get the angle and the action that I needed to capture the moment.

Lets all go for a ride.....

The beauty, grace and speed of Tom's 64 Buick Skylark was so fun.
He let us all take a ride in it one morning while visiting. The top was down, the wind was whipping, the oldies were on the radio, and the attention we all got while driving about town in it was so cool. Tom put a lot of hard work into restoring this great car.

Great Friends even Better Times

This picture was snapped while we were sitting outside of
Gill's Bar and Grill after the Fourth of July parade. Everyone was all smiles!

How to Pacify the Time

What a great invention for pacifying the time. Little Jake was awesome {although he is awesome all the time...}, during the car ride with the use of modern technology and the use of old superman DVDs. It is like "just add batteries" with a twist.

Happy 4th of July

Happy Fourth of July! We had such a good time with the Ranney's up in north G.A. this past weekend. It was fun to go up, relax, hang out, play board games, and read magazines. We got the chance to meet Jason's father Tom and his wife Nancy. What a great couple! The boys even got to be in the parade down town in Tom's awesome 64 buick skylark. They all looked real handsome in the parade. Be on the look out for more pictures from this great weekend away. Thanks again for the invite Tammy and Jason. Thank you Nancy and Tom for having us stay with you and opening your home to us.
