Slip Slide and Away.....

A steady hand, fast shutter speed, being in the right position and lots of timing goes into a shot like these. There are times when you would like to show the movement of the water [ ie. a slower more relaxed shutter speed and a tripod] but in one like this were the person is your target you want to freeze and capture the moment not the movement. I laugh every time I look at this series of pictures. Jake's little face says it all as he nears the splash at the end of the water slide. As soon as he was done with one ride it was right back to the top for one more ride down the big slide.
